I’m an Embalmer: Doing My Ex’s Makeup from the Start

Lin Hao opened a makeup shop, but he only did makeup for ghosts, making the deceased look presentable for their journey to the Yellow Springs. He was known as a yin-yang funeral makeup artist!

One day, a living customer came in: his ex-girlfriend, showing off her fiance and mocking him. She thought Lin Hao's profession was all hocus-pocus, and, refusing to believe in the supernatural, demanded that he give her a beautiful makeover.

The next day, the headlines read: "Yanjing City real estate tycoon terrified into madness at his own wedding. His fiancee was wearing death makeup when she died!"

Lin Hao put down his phone and shook his head. Looking at the bodies crowding his shop and the ghosts wandering everywhere, he ordered, "Get in line, all of you! One at a time, or nobody gets their makeup done!"

In the underworld, Black and White Impermanence, Ox-Head and Horse-Face, and the rest were regular customers of the funeral makeup artist.

In the world of the living, corpse drivers and river-body collectors alike brought corpses to him, begging for his help.
