Journey to the West: I, Sun Wukong, Work Nine to Five on the Road to the Scriptures

Sun Hou transmigrates into the primordial world of Journey to the West and becomes Great Sage Equal to Heaven Sun Wukong. During the great calamity of the Journey to the West, the Western Sect wants to use Sun Wukong as a pawn to bring Buddhism eastward, thereby reviving Buddhism, following the will of the Heavenly Dao, and becoming the new protagonist of the world!

But Sun Hou has long since seen through every scheme of the Western Sect. How could he willingly be their pawn and let them get their way?

Sun Hou activates the Nine-to-Five System. He gets stronger just by clocking in and out on time every day!

From then on, Sun Hou takes his pilgrimage at a leisurely pace!

Sha Wujing: "Elder Brother, Master has been captured! Please, don't clock out!"

Guanyin: "Sun Wukong, you only walk eight hours a day. When will you ever reach the Western Heaven? Please hurry up!"

Tathagata: "You rebellious monkey, I'll give you a primordial spiritual treasure. How about working two extra hours each day?"

What are you nagging me for? This Great Sage has already clocked out. Whatever it is, wait until tomorrow!

P.S. A thrilling, hilarious new take on Journey to the West. Don't miss it!
