I'm Really an Undercover Agent

Protagonist: "Sorry, I'm an undercover cop."

Boss: "Quit joking, brother. Even if I'm undercover, there's no way you are."

Protagonist: "I'm really undercover. Didn't you see me call the police?"

Boss: "What? Which bastard sold us out? Don't worry, brother. I'll get you out, even if it costs me my life..."

Protagonist: "..."

"Come on, I'm really undercover. Why won't any of you believe me?"

After offending the sons of some powerful families, he is sent undercover to a gang-ridden district crawling with danger.

But somehow, after one of the big shots takes a liking to him at first sight, his fortunes take off, and he eventually becomes a big shot himself.

Most importantly, those big shots seem to have something wrong with their eyes. Whenever they look at him, they think he's one of them and refuse to believe he's undercover.
