Eastern Celestial Clan: Dragon Emperor

When dragons fight in the wild, their blood is dark yellow.

When the Yellow Dragon flies into a rage, blood flows in every direction.

This is a story about a dragon. As the son of the Jing River Dragon King, Ao Yi rises to prominence thanks to a fortuitous opportunity from heaven and gains power through the favor of influential benefactors.

This is the story of how one dragon, in a world where his race is in decline, strives to become the True Dragon Emperor of the Three Realms and Ten Directions.

P.S. The setting of this book is something I cobbled together from a bunch of unrelated ideas. It has basically nothing to do with Journey to the West, Investiture of the Gods, or similar works, and even less to do with the Primordial Wilderness genre. If you find some of the character portrayals strange, don't ask. The answer is: foreshadowing.

P.S. I previously tried writing an experimental book about the Great Sage Xing Tian, but it fell apart as I went along. I wrote whenever I felt like it, so it’s no surprise it fell apart. I won’t put it behind a paywall and cheat people out of their money. I’ll write this one properly, with a minimum of six thousand words per update. The style is somewhat classical, so the wording takes a little effort.

P.S. Finally, this is not a transmigration story. The protagonist is a native of this world. Related plot elements are drawn from Journey to the West, its sequel, and Shi Gandang.

This novel and its characters are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to real people or events is purely coincidental. Do not imitate.
