Bladesman in the Anime World

In a certain world, there is a kind of person called a blade-wielder. They stand somewhere between knights-errant and assassins, with a little more professionalism than knights-errant. In other words, they want money. They need money because they are ordinary mortals, and mortals cannot live without it. But they have more of a sense of justice than assassins, so they will not take just any job for money.

They do not live for money. Perhaps you are sure to ask what they live for, then? Knights-errant are true to their principles, and they live for those principles. To die or to live... Assassins are true to the urge to kill. If they are not true to that urge, they will die by another's blade. Only the urge to kill can keep them alive.
