Night: The Golden Legend

There are many beings in this world that ordinary people cannot perceive. We call them monsters! Some are the result of the souls of the dead transforming into something else. Normal people cannot sense their presence, and they are not friendly, either. Though they do not attack humans directly, they make people irritable and unable to control their emotions, indirectly harming them and damaging their health.

Of course, where there is evil, there is good. There is another kind of being in this world: they live forever, and even after death, they start over from scratch. We call them legends!

They have been at odds with monsters for thousands of years. Their stories are passed down through the ages, and people build shrines to them and make offerings every year. As long as their legends endure, they will live forever!
