From the Start: The Abyssal Lord

When the ninth level of the Abyss first opened, over a thousand demon hunters were chosen as its first explorers.

Tragically, knowing little about the Abyss, they encountered an enemy as powerful as a god on that expedition.

Every one of the thousand-plus demon hunters died in that battle.

Only one lucky man, William Fanjins, survived: a demon hunter of middling ability, and the sole survivor among them!

A "god" let him live through that nightmarish slaughter, but in exchange, he was forced to spend the rest of his life as the Abyss's new king!
