I Am the King of the Abyss!

The ninth level of the Abyss has just opened, and more than a thousand demon hunters have been chosen as its first explorers.

Tragically, they know so little about the Abyss that during their expedition, they encounter an enemy as powerful as a "god."

Every one of the thousand-plus demon hunters dies in that battle.

Only one lucky man, William Vankins, survives: a demon hunter of middling strength and the sole survivor of the expedition!

A "deity" lets him live through this nightmarish massacre. In exchange, he is forced to spend the rest of his life serving as the Abyss's new king!
