The Great Physician: General, Don't Play Tricks

He was a celebrated general in the enemy camp, while I was a female assassin bearing the burden of revenge. Though he was clearly suspicious, he let me go again and again, even as my identity came under increasing scrutiny. And each time, the sight of him in his black armor struck a blow to the heart I thought was utterly cold. Did I really hate him so much? Perhaps generations of hatred drilled into my mind had blinded me. Forgive me, Father. This time, Yun'er can't complete your mission...

Because Yun'er wants to live for herself, just once, even if it means flying into the flames.

Is she a miracle-working doctor, or an assassin? If she's an assassin, why does she care for me so tenderly when I'm gravely wounded? If she's a doctor, why did she add poison to my pills? Damn it, how can I, commander of an army, let myself get distracted on the battlefield? Yet her pale face keeps appearing in my mind. Why can't I bring myself to hurt her, despite knowing the truth?

Instead, all I want is to hold her close, comfort her, and cherish her for the rest of my life...
