To crack down on immortals illegally sneaking into the mortal realm and maintain order across the Three Realms, the Jade Emperor issues an edict establishing the Heavenly Court's Office in the Mortal Realm. Erlang Shen assumes the alias Yang Jian and descends to take charge.
Zhao Xiaogu: "Big Brother Erlang Shen, Sister Chang'e said she'd give me a jade rabbit last time. How come it still hasn't arrived?"
Yang Jian: "That rabbit was unlucky. It got caught by someone as soon as it descended and was sent to the kitchen. By the time we found it, all that was left was its head."
Reba: "Big Brother Erlang Shen, netizens keep saying the special effects in the fantasy dramas I star in look fake and have no immortal feel at all."
Yang Jian: "Feng Bo, Yu Shi, Lei Gong, and Dian Mu, take your positions! Scene eight, shot six of Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, Three Lives, Three Worlds is ready to film!"
Yang Mi: "Big Brother Erlang Shen, I want to have your monkeys!"
Yang Jian: "Damn monkey, you've turned into a woman again to trick me. Take my spear!"
