The Mermaid Won't Behave

When she was eight, her parents divorced, and the court awarded custody to her mother. But the very next day, her mother took her to the seaside and abandoned her. An old woman she didn't know rescued her. The woman had two grandsons: the older one was Shu Jiayi, and the younger one was Shu Jiake. Even as a little girl, she remembered those eyes, like a pool of spring water.

"Big brother, I like you."

At fourteen, after her confession was rejected, she was heartbroken. She soaked herself in the bathtub and accidentally fell asleep, only to wake and discover that she had somehow become a mermaid...

Six years later, when she faced Shu Jiayi again, her heart no longer raced as it had before. She felt nothing but calm.

What?

The older brother likes her?

Could that be possible?...

She seemed to be looking forward to it a little...
