From the Start, I Had a Broken Temple, and Built a Divine Dynasty with the People's Almanac

After transmigrating into the role of a temple caretaker at a ruined shrine, Chen Xu faces refugees, powerful gentry, and an evil god statue that bleeds. Fortunately, he binds himself to the Register of the People: building roads earns upgrades, opening schools earns upgrades, training soldiers earns upgrades, and even building a toilet boosts public morale. The Zhao family wants to demolish the shrine? First, they'll have to get past the refugee militia from thirty households. The county magistrate wants to collect taxes? He'd better check the laws inscribed in the Register of the People first. From a ruined shrine to a new order for the world, Chen Xu has just one thing to say: Don't mess with a man who knows how to organize people.
