Hunt Sequence: The Spore Apocalypse

Chen Yu is a zero-rank scavenger outside the Beiqiong Underground City. Every day, he risks his life in the Gray Corridor ruins, where deadly spore rain falls, earning meager contribution points just to secure a purification pod for his younger sister, who suffers from spore lung. A spore storm arriving three days ahead of schedule shatters the bleak routine and drives him to the brink of death. Trapped with no way out and hunted by a pack of mutated rats, he unexpectedly awakens the exceedingly rare “Hunting Sequence Circuit.” By killing mutated monsters, he can absorb their crystals and strengthen himself. The spore-blighted wasteland that everyone else fears has become his hunting ground, where he can defy fate and change his life. But power comes at the cost of an ever-increasing erosion of his humanity by beastly instincts. Between the strictly rationed underground city and the perilous ruins, how will he turn the tables on stronger prey and fight his way to survival?
