One Piece: Mastering Cloud Cutter in Three Days Leaves Whitebeard Stunned

Aboard Rocks's ship, Xia Tian mastered Cloud-Cutting Slash in three days. After seeing them just once, he could replicate Lion's Wave-Cutting and Thunder Silver Axe, nearly prompting Whitebeard and Golden Lion to duel over recruiting him.

Rocks personally stepped in to quell the dispute, promoting Xia Tian from apprentice to officer despite his lack of seniority and letting him form his own division. A Marine spy urgently sent back intelligence, and Kong placed Xia Tian on the Marines' extremely dangerous blacklist. But beneath the fame, Xia Tian knew he was still inexperienced, and the real battles had yet to come.

Rocks then announced that in one month's time, the entire crew would set out for the East Blue to hunt down the Celestial Dragons on patrol and seize the Heavenly Tribute. The Marines' escort might include Sengoku, Zephyr, and Tsuru, while Xia Tian's division would provide support from the perimeter. Before the meeting ended, Rocks personally taught him advanced Armament Haki techniques and more refined applications of Conqueror's Haki, intending to test his talent once more.

Xia Tian had already mastered Cloud-Cutting, Wave-Cutting, and Thunder Silver Axe, while his Observation Haki and Six Powers were also improving. But his weapons were too poor, and his Armament Haki was still acting up. He planned to use this voyage to find a fearsome weapon that suited him, while continuing to push his combat strength to new heights over the next month. The Celestial Dragons' mission was only the beginning. The real storm was still to come.
