Detective Conan: The Soul-Hooking Ledger Steals Shinichi's Moment of Glory

Zhang Qingshan entered the world of Detective Conan with a Soul-Seizing Ledger, planning to steal Shinichi's big moments.

But people were dying at an absurd rate in this world. He had only just collected the soul of the victim on the roller coaster when Gin and Vodka brushed right past him. Zhang Qingshan had not even decided whether to stop Shinichi Kudo from being shrunk when Shinichi was already chasing Vodka into an alley. Zhang Qingshan could only follow discreetly with a camcorder, ready to witness the century's most astonishing shrinking firsthand.

After Shinichi Kudo was forced to swallow the drug, his body visibly shrank. Zhang Qingshan filmed the whole thing from the shadows but did not dare approach recklessly, afraid the drug had not finished working and Shinichi would cave in at a touch. Once Conan was born, Zhang Qingshan turned his attention to a new source of fun: calling Ran to stir things up, showing up at her door with a gift to mooch a meal, and even giving Conan a little pink dress.

Conan gritted his teeth in fury, but Ran thought the dress suited him. Zhang Qingshan kept calling him "Conan Ran" and blamed him for stealing the lollipops. When Yoko Okino came to ask for help, everyone rushed to her apartment, where a corpse with a kitchen knife sticking out of it lay facedown in the living room. Zhang Qingshan planned to identify the culprit before anyone else and steal the spotlight from the steamed egg dish.
