Ultraman: Beaten Up by Tiga, I Became a Monster Strategist

After being blasted apart by the real Ultraman Tiga, Miyazaki Kaede becomes a being of light, with only seven Monster Cards and an unreliable System to his name. To grow stronger, he has to keep devouring monster energy. But as soon as he lands, he runs straight into Tiga's main storyline, with Golza, Melba, and the Kyrieloids appearing one after another.

To stop the Kyrieloids' sacred flames, he takes on the form of Gan Q and devours the underground fire, then faces the Flame Warrior head-on as Golba. The members of GUTS realize that this young man, who can transform into monsters, means them no harm. Instead, they offer him a position as their monster consultant.

But the true shadow still lingers deep in the Pacific Ocean: Gatanothor is slowly awakening. Tiga gives him the remaining light of Hra and Agul, leaving him with just one instruction: "Help the current human host when appropriate." Miyazaki Kaede knows that the Five Emperors alone are nowhere near enough to fight the Lord of Darkness. He has to keep devouring, fusing, and evolving.

But when Ligatron appears, he holds out for an hour and a half before realizing that brute force alone can't break through that shell. Worse still, three humans are trapped inside the thing.
