Prince of Tennis: Reuniting with My Childhood Neighbor, Ryoma Falls into My Hands!

On the first day of school, Aoki Kirishima ran into Echizen Ryoma beneath the cherry trees. He was the little neighbor who used to be soft and cuddly, call her "Big Sis," and cry the hardest when they parted. Now he was back with the same cocky face.

She watched him play from the sidelines, saw him get made to run laps, and watched him silence his opponents with a beat-up racket all the same. The smile in her eyes grew more obvious by the day. Everyone in the tennis club wondered who the famously aloof upperclasswoman had come to see. Only Ryoma knew how familiar the warmth of her fingertips felt whenever she reached out to ruffle his hair.

But no one noticed the occasional shadow in her eyes when she was alone in that excessively spacious villa, her fingers brushing the old knot of cord around her neck. Their reunion had stirred up the past she had carefully tucked away. As she watched the boy grow brighter and brighter on the court, a thought she had never shared with anyone quietly surfaced in her heart: since fate had brought him back into her life, this time she would not let him slip away from her again.
