Bleach: The Viewing Screen Reveals Chaos Within the Espada

Badly wounded, Tōshirō drives Hyōrinmaru into a deeper Bankai and clashes head-on with Tier Harribel.

The revelry in Las Noches comes to an abrupt halt. Tier Harribel’s enormous shark fin trembles in the cold currents after her Resurrección. For the first time, she reads a truly dangerous warning in those emotionless azure eyes. The third seat of the Espada is finally taking the fight seriously, but Tōshirō’s willingness to trade wounds with his opponent is more savage than any beast’s. Ice crystals keep bursting from the ground, sealing every avenue of escape, and all the moisture in the air becomes a weapon in his hands.

The instant Tōshirō utters the name “Hundred Flowers Funeral,” the sky above all of Karakura Town seems to freeze into one enormous sheet of glass. No matter how fast Tier Harribel’s Sonído is, it cannot outrun the freeze spreading everywhere. Frost blossoms creep across her golden hair, and the enormous Tiburón blade, powerful enough to cleave buildings in two, freezes and cracks inch by inch. Only then does everyone truly realize that the boy’s place on the rankings is no mere result of his supposed potential.

The light screen freezes Tier Harribel in ice, and the jeers from Las Noches fall silent.
