Pokemon: Watching Anime with Pokemon, Gardevoir's Zap Cannon

Ling Ran awakens a System that lets him watch anime with his Pokémon. From the start, a Champion-level Gengar claims him as its Trainer. The purple fatty watches Naruto and masters Susanoo and the Mangekyo Sharingan, which in turn grants Ling Ran the physique of Pallet Town. Heracross watches One-Punch Man and learns Saitama's training routine. Even after breaking its horn, it does a hundred-kilogram weighted sit-up, boosting its strength from Gym Leader level to near-Elite Four level.

He goes to the Wild Area to find Cottonee a Sun Stone, then knocks a Moon Stone off a Solrock and sells it for 1.2 million. The System announces that a Charmander has hatched. Chairman Chong Lou video-calls him and lets him choose a Starter Pokémon. Ling Ran immediately picks a lanky one with the Hidden Ability Solar Power, which comes out blazing with pure black flames and tears around the whole yard. Uncle Chen challenges him with a near-Champion Arcanine. Ling Ran has only just sent out Gengar when a Shiny Gardevoir drifts down from upstairs and says, "Zap Cannon charging."

Chong Lou urges him to enroll, while Chen Feifei blocks him at the station, saying she wants to teach him a lesson. But when she sees the Mangekyo Sharingan above Gengar's head, she falls silent. Ling Ran stands by the window, taking stock: Gengar has Susanoo, Gardevoir has Zap Cannon, Heracross has the Serious Punch, and Charmander is tearing around the house in Black Flame Dragon Mode. They haven't even won a League championship yet, and the whole battling scene is about to lose its mind.
