Genshin Impact: Wielding the Orb Ring, Borrowing the Gods' Power to Turn the Tables

Fang Yan transmigrated to Teyvat and was taken in by Uncle Tian of Liyue. Rex Lapis himself spoke up to keep him around. But Fang Yan failed the General Affairs Department exam, was turned away when he tried to see Zhongli, and didn't even get a Vision. All he could do was make a living by fishing. That is, until the Orb appeared from the sky: defeat someone or earn their recognition, and he could generate a character card and borrow all of their power.

His first card came from Uncle Tian. With his Millelith spear techniques and Geo shield, Fang Yan swept through a Hilichurl camp. His second card, however, came from Guoba. A flash of golden light passed, and Fang Yan nearly stumbled when he saw the card: Marchosius, the Stove God of Liyue, one of the primordial gods! After absorbing the card, his constitution shot past 120, his Pyro power surged by 400, and his physical strength nearly reached the peak of the Seven Stars.

That night, Keqing came running after hearing the news. Bribed with milk tea, she took Fang Yan to Qingce Village. On the road through Guili Plains, frenzied Hilichurls surrounded them. Fang Yan combined Uncle Tian's and Guoba's powers for the first time, sweeping across the battlefield with both Geo and Pyro, until they finally reached safety. Only then did he notice that he had picked up a lost blue-haired girl along the way. She was clutching an old book titled Records of the Autumnal Harvest. "Hello, I'm Kokomi, Sangonomiya Kokomi."
