Great Qin: Modern Supplies and Secrets from Later Generations for the Ancestor Dragon

Zhao Long, a rich second-generation heir, is dumped by his own father in the Qinling Mountains to survive for two and a half years. He has a truckload of supplies and a dog named Ah Huang. Every day, he grows melons and reads, hoping his family will come by with some electronics.

After a century-defining thunderstorm rages for three days and nights, Zhao Long is munching on a watermelon in his field when he runs into three men in ancient clothing: one calls himself "Old Zhao" from Xianyang, one is an erudite old man, and one is a burly fellow carrying a sword. Zhao Long assumes they're extras who escaped from a psychiatric hospital. He casually scoffs that "the Qin Dynasty fell ages ago," then recites the number of Qin Shi Huang's sons, Li Si's exact words when taking leave of Xunzi, and the details of Meng Tian's northern campaign against the Xiongnu. Ying Zheng and the others are so terrified they think they've stumbled into a time-space labyrinth. They run ten li with the emperor on their backs before daring to catch their breath.

Back beside the carriage, Ying Zheng grows more uneasy the more he thinks about it. Everything the young man said sounds true, and he even knows that Mount Li's mausoleum will become a tourist attraction packed with visitors more than two thousand years later. Li Si counts on his fingers, breaking out in a cold sweat. If this man really comes from the future, then the Qin Dynasty... really did fall?
