Detective Conan: I Asked You to Solve Cases, Not Beat the Police Chief into Submission!

Makino Ryuichi transmigrates into the world of Case Closed and gets bound to a System from the start. Solve cases and earn explosive rewards! On his very first day on the job, Inspector Megure arrests him as a suspect and takes him to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. But with nothing more than a raffle list and crime scene photos, he uses criminal profiling to identify the culprit on the spot: a man aged 45 to 55, a subordinate of the victim's former employer, single, and suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder. Inspector Megure is left speechless. They fish around in a drainage ditch and find everything: the murder weapon, bloodstained clothes, and fingerprints!

At the police academy, he is assigned to the same class and dorm as Wataru Date, Jinpei Matsuda, Kenji Hagiwara, Rei Furuya, and Hiromitsu Morofushi. Jinpei Matsuda threatens to beat him up and challenges Rei Furuya to a midnight fight. Makino charges straight into the middle of it. With A-rank Jeet Kune Do and A-rank physical abilities, he pins Matsuda to the ground in under three moves. Rei Furuya watches in total disbelief, while Wataru Date and Kenji Hagiwara can't stop them. Instructor Onizuka rushes over after hearing what happened, only to find Matsuda lying flat and admitting defeat. Makino pats him on the shoulder and says, "Well, I like to reason with people until they see things my way."

Before police academy training is even over, a string of murders in Tokyo comes knocking. The Black Organization, Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department higher-ups, and all sorts of death flags are stirring in the shadows.
