Great Ming: You Were Told to Escort Military Provisions, but You Cleared Out Northern Yuan

In the seventh year of Yongle, Qiu Fu is defeated and killed by the Luan River. Zhu Di is furious and decides to personally lead a campaign north beyond the frontier the following spring.

Yan Zhiheng transmigrates into a low-ranking grain clerk at the Dongguang relay station, a scapegoat who could be pushed out to take the blame at any moment. The ledgers list carts, but there are none in the yard. The government oxen supposedly "died of illness" long ago, yet still haul private goods for the powerful. Before the army has even crossed the pass, nine supply stations are already on the verge of crippling the grain route.

Fortunately, he awakens the Map of Mountains, Rivers, and Military Supplies. It lets him inspect supplies, calculate losses, modify weapons, and model the enemy's and his own supply routes, but it can't conjure even a single grain of rice out of thin air.

Later, Zhu Di only asks him to retrieve the stolen military provisions. By dawn, Yan Zhiheng has not only brought back the Ming army's grain carts, but also made the Tatars deliver their entire forward supply camp to the Ming army's main camp.

Zhu Di is silent for a long while. "I told you to escort the army's provisions. Who told you to bring back their granary too?"
