The Naruto Gold List Appears, Spoiling Konoha's Destruction Plan

After transmigrating into the world of Naruto, Bai Yan married Ayame from the Ichiraku Ramen shop and planned to live a quiet life. On the day of the Chunin Exams finals, a golden leaderboard stretched across the sky above the shinobi world. The Summoning Beast Ranking had appeared, and those who made the list would receive heaven-defying rewards. It was being broadcast simultaneously in the living world and the Pure Land.

Kakashi's Eight Ninja Hounds placed thirtieth and won super dog food that increased their sense of smell a hundredfold. Danzo's Baku placed twenty-fifth and won the Rinnegan, which would leave him permanently blind after ten uses. The Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, and his summon Enma placed fifteenth. Then came footage of Orochimaru disguised as the Kazekage, summoning the First and Second Hokage with Edo Tensei, and the Third fighting to the death with the Reaper Death Seal. The entire shinobi world watched as the "strongest Hokage in history" gave his life just to take Orochimaru's arms.

In the Pure Land, Hashirama Senju covered his face while Madara Uchiha laughed uproariously. The ranking continued with Tsunade's Slug, Jiraiya's Toad Bunta, and even Madara Uchiha's Nine-Tails. When the footage showed Madara controlling the Nine-Tails to fight Hashirama at the Valley of the End, the entire shinobi world fell silent. Sitting in the Ichiraku Ramen shop, Bai Yan watched Konoha erupt outside his window, then lowered his head and kept wiping bowls. "This show is way better than the Chunin Exams."
