Siheyuan: From the Start, I Have the Ultimate Red Umbrella of Protection

Chen Yang has spent five years in the 1950s after transmigrating. He has neither a pocket dimension nor a System, yet one song, "Socialism Is Good," has taken the whole country by storm and even earned him a personal audience with that great leader.

After graduating from university, he is assigned to work as a publicity officer at the Third Steel Mill. He plans to settle into a quiet job, until the factory asks him to write a new song for the tenth anniversary of National Day.

Chen Yang writes "The Country." The line "A family is the smallest country, and the country is made of millions of families" is enough to convince everyone, as soon as he presents it to a music professor, that the song will sweep the nation once again.

It is while composing the music that he meets Song Qinrong, a young music teacher. The two go from talking about songs and composing together to understanding and falling in love with each other.

While the people in the courtyard are still scheming over a bit of meat and a few rooms, Chen Yang is already making the name of the Third Steel Mill known far and wide with one revolutionary song after another.
