Demon Slayer: Yujiro's Template, on a Blind Date with Mitsuri from the Start

Lin Cheng transmigrates into the world of Demon Slayer and binds himself to the Yujiro Hanma template. He has to throw tens of thousands of punches every day just to increase his progress by 0.01%. At twelve percent, he'll be able to crush stone with his bare hands. By day, he works as a schoolteacher; at night, he shuts himself away to train his demon back. When his kindly neighbor insists on setting him up on a date, he plans to go through the motions. But when he walks into the cafe, the person across from him is sixteen-year-old Mitsuri Kanroji.

Mitsuri has repeatedly been rejected on dates because of her enormous appetite. Hungry and trying to act ladylike, she says, "I don't eat much." Lin Cheng calmly orders a table full of desserts and pushes them toward her. "I ordered too much. Could you help me out?" Mitsuri devours everything in no time, only realizing after she's finished that she's given herself away. After the date, as they walk down a cherry blossom street, she lowers her head and asks, "Don't you think it's strange that I eat so much?" Lin Cheng reaches out and gently rubs the top of her head. "It's not strange."

Their carrier pigeons fly back and forth for two months. On the night of the Cherry Blossom Festival, she turns to look at him from the crowd, dressed in a pink kimono. The foul stench of the first demon drifts over from afar, mingling with the scent of flowers. Lin Cheng steps in front of her and says softly:

"Don't look back. I'll take you home."
