The Southern Song Casebook

In the winter of the eleventh year of Shaoxing, Marshal Yue died at the Pavilion of Wind and Waves. Three months later, thirty-seven former members of the Yue Family Army were purged, all accused of treason. Among them was Li Chong, a descendant of Li Yu, the last ruler of Southern Tang, who had concealed his identity to join the Yue Family Army. His entire family perished. His orphaned daughter Li, still an infant, was rescued and later taken in by a branch of the Qin family, where she was renamed Qin Li. -- Miscellaneous Records of the Jianghu: The Lingering Grievance of Wind and Waves
