Film and TV: The Wish-Granting Machine That Fulfills Characters' Final Wishes

Song Ren was bound to the Myriad Worlds Wish Machine, which took on the dying wishes of characters in film and television worlds. The first task came from Kung Fu Jungle: Hung Yip, the dying King of Weapons, couldn't accept losing to a box cutter, so he wanted Song Ren to defeat Fung Yu-Sau in his place.

Song Ren glanced at the task description and opened the beginner's gift pack the System had given him. Inside lay a Glock and a pair of brass knuckles. Right in front of Fung Yu-Sau, he pulled out the gun and fired five shots at point-blank range, turning the martial arts fanatic into a sieve. Task complete. The System's settlement screen gave him a two-star rating, along with Fung Yu-Sau's immense resentment. The resentment was so great that the System forcibly purified it into a character card, complete with absolute loyalty.

The next task came from the Vietnamese gang in Flash Point, and the one after that involved Wong Po from SPL. Song Ren looked at the screen full of unprocessed dying wishes and released Fung Yu-Sau from his card. "Come on, we're working overtime." He glanced back at the System's last message: "Boss, a dead person left you a good review."
