Genshin Impact: I Get Stronger by Courting Death, Then the Whole City Hunts Me Down in Shame

After being bound to a Suicide System, Su Han's life in Teyvat went completely off the rails.

The System told him to say to Ying, "I'm your long-lost brother," and she chased him halfway across the city with a Dull Blade at his throat. It made him publicly recite that he was Miss Lisa's dog, sending Mondstadt's public humiliation index through the roof. It taught Paimon the "Lion's Roar" and "One Yang Finger," which turned into flipping the bird and wailing like a ghost. Amber nearly had her gliding license revoked as a result.

When faced with Stormterror, everyone else thought about how to fight it. He only thought about how to run faster: Windborne Escape Lv. 5, with his movement speed soaring when he turned his back on the enemy. Even the wind vortex couldn't drag him back.

When faced with Hilichurls, everyone else fought them head-on. He rushed in to steal their treasure chest, then stood on a watchtower reciting poetry and acting like a sage. After drawing all the enemies' attention, he ran off, conveniently gathering them all together for his teammates to use as target practice.

The more he courted death, the stronger he became. From a specialist in fleeing to a medical expert, from catching blades barehanded to gaining an affinity for Anemo, Su Han carved out an absurd path to power in the narrow gap between public humiliation and being hunted down.
