Dream of the Red Chamber: Traveling Through the Heavens to Change the Novel's Fate

Yun Qing was chosen by a mysterious magical treasure, and from then on she could travel between different times and worlds.

She had been nothing more than a young Taoist cultivating in the mountains. Her first stop after leaving them brought her straight into Dream of the Red Chamber: the home of Lin Ruhai, Assistant Prefect of Yunyang. His three-year-old son, Lin Moyu, was on the verge of death, and all the doctors in the household were helpless.

She stepped in. One pill went down the boy's throat, spiritual energy protected his heart, and by that very day, the child was out of immediate danger. Jia Min burst into tears, Lin Ruhai thanked her with red-rimmed eyes, and even four-year-old Lin Daiyu came running to see the "fairy sister."

As fate would have it, her long-lost twin sister was working as a maid in the home of the Assistant Prefect's wife's friend. The sisters reunited, and her twin took the name Yun Xi. From then on, neither of them would be alone.

But Lin Moyu's illness was only the beginning. Jia Min's hidden ailment, Lin Daiyu's congenital weakness, Lin Ruhai's steadily failing health: she wasn't about to let a single member of this family die.

Cultivation techniques cured Dream of the Red Chamber's stubborn ailments, and Taoist pills gave the dying a new lease on life. Only after Yun Qing showed what she could really do did she realize that the tragedy of this grand garden had already been rewritten the day she entered the Lin residence.
