I, the Wall Street Tyrant, Short the Ming Dynasty from the Start

Su Yue, Wall Street's most ruthless financial tyrant, unexpectedly binds to the Sovereign Debt Settlement Terminal of Ten Thousand Dynasties.

From the start, the Ming Dynasty is on the verge of bankruptcy. Chongzhen mortgages the priceless Xuande Incense Burner and begs for one million taels in bridge financing to save his life, kneeling before the terminal?

Su Yue sneers. "I can save you, but I don't want silver. I want the right to set tariffs for the future Ming Dynasty!"

In response, Su Yue takes the national treasure and, without putting up a single coin of principal, issues Ming national defense war bonds through the terminal to Qin Shi Huang!

Ying Zheng: "These bonds yield a hundred percent annualized returns? A sure thing! I'll invest one hundred thousand taels of gold!"

Emperor Wu of Han: "I'll mortgage Weiyang Palace. Please, Mr. Su, give the Han cavalry some leverage!"

Chongzhen: "I've seized the property of all my ministers and turned it into shares. Immortal, please give the Ming market another boost!"
