Fate Signed

On the night of my eighteenth birthday, an unsigned letter dragged me into a deadly trap.

My best friend was brutally killed at my door, leaving behind one chilling warning: "Don't sign. It will cost you your life."

But when midnight came, a shadow beneath the old locust tree was already waiting with a pen.

The letter had no terms and demanded no price. It only asked me to sign my name.

Sign, and I would gain endless good fortune, power, wealth, and everything I wished for.

Refuse, and I would die mysteriously, just like my best friend.

With no choice, I put pen to paper. From then on, my life took off.

But gradually, I realized that every stroke of good luck was stealing the lives of those around me.

Every signature was carving a tombstone for me.

Then one day, I received another letter:

"The contract has expired. Now you must repay it with your life."

Only then did I understand that what I'd signed wasn't my name,

but a soul contract that would make me a slave for all eternity.
