Snow Falls on Weiyang: Ten Years of a Han Envoy Among the Xiongnu

Zhang Qian, pioneer of the Silk Road who opened up the Western Regions. A story built around the ultimate tug-of-war between "duty to country" and "personal feelings."

A secret order sends him far to the Western Regions, but he is forcibly detained for ten years and made a son-in-law of the enemy Xiongnu.

He disguises himself and endures, rising among the wolves with the help of a sign-in System, all for the Chang'an he holds dear.

Ten years later, he returns to Han with intelligence capable of turning the tide of war, earning a title of nobility, a general's rank, and glory.

But when midnight dreams return, what is to become of the Xiongnu woman who lit his yurt on the grasslands and bore him children?

As the iron hooves of the Han are about to trample her homeland, how will he choose between loyalty and love?
