Rebuilding the Great Zhou: Wu Zetian Has Transmigrated

In 705 AD, as Wu Zetian lay dying at Shangyang Palace, her heart seethed with resentment at being forced to abdicate and fury at the restoration of the Li dynasty. Her fierce obsession kept a wisp of her imperial soul from fading. It crossed through time and awoke in Pan Jinlian's body during the Zhenghe era of Emperor Huizong's Northern Song.

The rift between her soul as a revered ruler and her lowly identity in the streets is the driving force behind all her early actions.
