Chronicles of the Mystic Mirror: Pact to Shatter the Sky

On a night when the eclipsed moon hung high, Su Heng, heir to the Wayfarers, carried a deep-blue bone fragment he had found in the ruins of a shattered mirror in the Western Desert. After traveling three thousand li, he arrived in Qingyang City.

He crouched atop an old locust tree on the city wall, where Qin Yue, an old man holding a lantern by the city gate, saw through the fragment's true nature: it was a shard of the Shattered Mirror Bone.

Qin Yue, the last Mirror Speaker, told Su Heng that the copper mirror shard in his palm was a Contract Mirror capable of repairing the Sky Mirror. Beneath Qingyang City lay the Rift of the Shattered Sky, which sealed away the Eclipsed Moon Demon Lord, the culprit behind the Sky Mirror's destruction. The Mirror Heart lay within the seal, and the seal was about to break.

Faced with the choice of staying behind to avoid danger or venturing into peril to retrieve the Mirror Heart, Su Heng recalled the Wayfarer's final words and resolutely decided to follow Qin Yue underground. He had no idea that a shadow had already set its sights on the stone house.
