Hong Kong Films: You Were Told to Be a Cop, So Why Are You More Corrupt Than the Gangsters?

He transmigrated into the world of Hong Kong movies.

Han Li became an anti-triad police officer.

Everything had been perfectly normal.

Then he unexpectedly unlocked the Black Gold System.

The dirtier your deeds,

the greater the rewards?

This System is way too messed up...

Isn’t it forcing me down the path of a corrupt cop?

Congratulations on accepting your first bribe. Reward: a senior informant within the police force!

Hm?

This System is actually pretty great!

Successfully woo ten actresses.

Reward: an underground bank for laundering dirty money.

Take complete control of a triad!

Reward: a private armed force.

Successfully recruit ten lawmakers.

Reward: the operating rights to an underground super-casino.

From then on,

Han Li clocked in at the police station by day.

At night, he had the backing of a crime boss.

When he had "taken over" all of Hong Kong,

Han Li realized...

Why wasn’t this System maxed out yet?
