Not a very refreshing book. The protagonist can't beat the old bat, so why bother with him? The protagonist can't kill the students of the Snake Academy, so why write about those campus bullies? They are not from the same academy. The time traveler does not study well in the magic academy. Always this and that. If he offends you, students can't kill him. Don't he have family? . Can't we kill even if we are on holiday? . This book is both enjoyable and frustrating. I find it rather depressing.
