Reborn in Japan as an Old Hand: Building the Magic Mirror Ship from the Start

Chen Ji, who transmigrated here, is reborn in Japan as the head of the Tokuryusha, a Hokkaido gang.

The Tokuryusha is on the verge of being beaten into ruin by rival gangs.

With nowhere else to turn, Chen Ji grits his teeth. "We're changing course! Spread the word: the Tokuryusha is giving up all its territory. Starting today, we're switching to the entertainment industry, beginning with movies."

His underlings are worried. "Boss, making movies means hiring actors, but we're out of money."

"No problem. I'll handle it myself!"

The next day,

Chen Ji drives a camera van called the Magic Mirror to the street.

"Hi, miss. I'm a director looking for a leading actress. Would you be interested in talking?"

Two hours later,

"Excellent, I'm very satisfied." Chen Ji, drenched in sweat, fastens his belt. "You said you have a younger sister named Aihara Airi, right? How about having her come audition for another role tomorrow?"

The next day,

Chen Ji says, "Airi, here's the rough outline of today's script: I'm your teacher, and one day I discover your secret..."
