Layoff System: Getting Optimized? I'll Fire HR First

The first-ever novel about a "Layoff System"!

While the System is active, every employee at the Host's company has a score visible to the Host. A positive score means the employee has a greater positive impact on the company as the score rises. A negative score means the employee has a greater negative impact as the score rises.

The Host can forcibly fire employees with negative scores and receive rewards. The higher the score, the greater the reward.

If the Host forcibly fires an employee with a positive score, they will be punished. The higher the score, the more severe the punishment.

Special note: If the Host activates the Layoff System against an employee with a positive score, the Host will receive some degree of punishment whether or not the employee is fired.

Before forcibly firing an employee, the Host must speak with them face to face and confirm the decision before the forced dismissal procedure can begin.

If the System detects that the other person is strongly unwilling to be fired, it will automatically activate the "Resource Integration" subroutine. The Host may freely choose one of that person's resources, including but not limited to money, lifespan, physique, strength, and more...
