Great Ming: Chongzhen Lays Off Workers from the Start, So I Arm Them to Demand Their Wages

The second year of Chongzhen's reign.

The Great Ming is teetering on the brink of collapse.

To ease the strain on the treasury, Chongzhen decides to shut down the post stations.

Unfortunately, among the post station employees who lose their jobs,

there is not only Li Zicheng, the future rebel king,

but also Wang Lin, a transmigrator from a later age.

On the day he is laid off, Wang Lin awakens the Empire Ascension System.

Every time he completes a mission, he receives generous rewards:

alloy swords and spears, titanium alloy armor,

firearms and cannons, top-tier generals, money and provisions.

He can even draw peerless beauties and enjoy the blessings of having several wives.

And so, with a group of post station grooms whose wages have gone unpaid, he begins an armed campaign to get their pay.

He kills corrupt officials and executes feudal princes.

He overthrows Chongzhen and wipes out the Tartars.

He battles the Red-Haired Devils on the high seas.

He competes with the great powers for colonies in North America.

He makes the Han people stand tall at the top of the world once more.
