The Strongest NPC in LifeAfter

What happens when an NPC gains intelligence?

Will they get along with players?

Or draw their blades against them?

The protagonist is a case in point. The moment he was discovered, a strange book appeared in his arms. From time to time, words appeared in it that people of this era couldn't understand.

But only the protagonist knew that completing the missions described by those words would earn him mysterious abilities and rewards. With those abilities, he could stand against powerful players.

To return to the question we started with: if you asked the protagonist for the answer, he would say:

"Kill the players and take their place!"
