Is He Scum? No, He's a Heroic Undercover Agent

Was Yu Ye a sinner in history? And yet someone often leaves flowers at his grave.

My name is Boss Yang. In the twenty-first century, what made me happiest was researching him. I studied him over and over for ten years.

Ten years of scholarship and constant investigation. He mattered more to me than my work.

At an academic conference, Boss Yang returned to forty years earlier. No one except her could see him, and she could move rapidly through the passage of time.

Boss Yang's eyes lit up: "Where else could I find such a fascinating criminal to study?"

Yu Ye: "Why does this woman always carry a little notebook?"

Boss Yang: "At first, I didn't want to empathize with this era. I just wanted to watch him live out his deranged life. But later, I wanted to save him. I used everything I'd learned in my life, along with everything I understood about this era, to save him, because he was an undercover narcotics officer."

Yu Ye: "Boss Yang lived for me. She said it twice: once on the eve of my death, and once just before I died."
