Below 12 Kilometers

The world lies in ruins.

Extreme subzero temperatures suffocate the surface, making even simple survival a torment. Frozen relics from a bygone era stretch across vast icy wastelands. Survivors fiercely guard any technology they rediscover.

The only way to escape the deadly climate is to go beneath the surface. But another disaster awaits underground. Enormous machines lie dormant in the depths. Insane demigods battle them, dying over and over as if it were all a game. Over time, the land itself changes, becoming more machinery than rock. An ominous prophecy says that the key to everything awaits four heroes, but no one knows who they are or where they can be found.

An expedition into the unknown north goes horribly wrong, leaving Keith Winterska and his father trapped in a desperate fight for survival. They stumble upon an ancient power struggle on a colossal scale. As they grapple with gods, legends, and the great secrets of the underground kingdoms, the two must set aside their differences.
