I Told You to Cook a Feast in the Village, Not a Manchu-Han Banquet!

From the start, Jiang Feng transmigrates to the 1990s. His older sister is getting married, and the imperial chef has barely had time to adjust to his new life when his family drags him back to their hometown for the wedding feast.

The cook in charge makes absolutely terrible food and is unbearably arrogant. When Jiang Feng offers a few suggestions, the man throws down his tools and quits.

With no other choice, Jiang Feng has to take over himself.

When he serves up imperial dishes like Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, boiled cabbage, and a full Manchu-Han banquet, the whole village is stunned!

Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, peach blossom pastries, spicy rabbit heads, boiled cabbage.

There isn't a dish from any of China's eight major culinary traditions that Jiang Feng can't make.

From then on, every village in the surrounding area lines up to hire Jiang Feng as its banquet chef.

"Xiao Feng, I'm getting married tomorrow. Could you come and make one dish for me? Just one!"

"Young Master, my grandfather is turning eighty. He insists that you be the chef. If you don't cook, he won't eat!"

"Young Master, our CEO has booked an entire hotel for you. If you come and cook, the hotel is yours."

Would you believe it? The village's top banquet chef gradually becomes one of China's most renowned state banquet chefs!
