Showbiz: Starting in 1986

Cheng Fei transmigrates to Hong Kong Island in the mid-to-late 1980s.

It was an era when a hundred flowers bloomed and immortals clashed.

It was an era when gold and natural beauties could be found everywhere.

He gets ahead of the rest of the world and claims countless timeless classics for himself.

Covering songs from Japan?

Not a chance.

They're the ones who come begging Cheng Fei to write songs for them.

Even world-famous singers like MJ come to him.

Reporter: "God Fei, I've heard two rumors lately. First, you write songs for beautiful female singers for free."

"Second, beautiful actresses don't charge a fee to star in the films you invest in..."

Cheng Fei: "They're not rumors. They're both true."

"We simply adore each other. Oh, no, we just appreciate each other."

As he finished speaking, Cheng Fei thought to himself:

"I'm the man behind them. Do you think I'd tell you that?"

Reporter: "The media have calculated that you've practically single-handedly supported the entertainment industries of Hong Kong Island and half of Asia. What's your take?"

Cheng Fei: "I look at it with my eyes."

Reporter: "..."
