I Built a Warp Engine from Scratch: Can I Make It into a Bachelor’s Program?

Due to family circumstances, Zhao Ziqing has no choice but to pursue a top-up degree.

As he wonders how to do it on a tight budget, a sudden idea strikes him.

"If, and I mean if, I could build a warp drive, could I get into a top-up degree program?"

"If you can build one, you could get into a top-up degree program, and so could your whole school!"

"You're joking, right?"

"You were the one who joked with me first!"

"Mr. Zhao Kai, your son has been detained by the relevant government authorities for various reasons. For the safety of you and your family, please come by to sign a confidentiality agreement when it's convenient."

One phone call leaves Zhao Kai, who has spent his whole life quietly working at a minor government office, utterly stunned.

When he arrives at the detention site, his scalp goes numb.

The small room is packed with important figures whose ranks are higher than his. Even the ordinary-looking people in white coats are leaders in their respective fields.

Zhao Kai asks, "Weren't you supposed to be researching the top-up degree exam? Why are your name and photo in this textbook?"
