The Dark Forest: Rising from a Primitive Tribe

The universe is a dark forest, and every civilization is a hunter with a gun.

They move through the forest like ghosts, gently pushing aside the branches in their way and doing their utmost to keep their footsteps silent. Even their breathing must be cautious. They have to be careful, because hunters just like them are lurking all through the forest.

If they discover another life-form, they can do only one thing:

Shoot to kill.

In this forest, everyone else is hell, an eternal threat. Any life-form that reveals its existence will be destroyed. This is the picture of civilization in the universe.

In the dark universe, Lu Zuo awakens and obtains the Gene Editing System.

Starting by leading a primitive tribe to rise, he cultivates original gene stock and creates divine-blood warriors...

The rise of humanity's "Emperor"!
