The Female Immortal Is Speechless: What Do I Do About Such a Hardworking Disciple?

Ye Qingluan, the lazy Zixia Immortal, has been feeling rather troubled lately.

At this year's sect-opening ceremony, the uptight sect leader gave her a stern order: if Zixia Peak doesn't take in even one disciple this time, her stipend will be cut off.

"How is that fair?!"

Ye Qingluan slapped the floor and sprang to her feet.

"We cultivators must strive ever onward and have the courage to make rapid progress! Do they really think they can threaten me with a measly stipend?"

But when she felt the empty pouch at her waist...

Ye Qingluan could only bow her head in bitter defeat.

Then she came up with a brilliant idea.

She would take on a disciple with abysmal aptitude, then leave him to fend for himself.

That way, her senior brother would realize she wasn't cut out to be a teacher, and she could go back to slacking off!

"My name is Lu Zuo, and I'm a transmigrator."

"After failing to seek immortality sixteen times, I was lucky enough to be taken in by the famous Zixia Immortal."

"I swear I'll repay her properly."
