Great Ming: I, Crown Prince Zhu Yuntong, Rule as Regent for Good

In the twentieth year of Hongwu, Zhu Biao died of illness.

Liu Tian unexpectedly transmigrates into the body of the imperial grandson Zhu Yunton, becoming a grandson of the Ming dynasty.

Grief-stricken, Zhu Yuanzhang agonizes over whether to choose Zhu Yunwen or Zhu Yunton as the future heir to the Ming dynasty.

At that very moment, Henan suffers a severe drought, leaving the people destitute.

Zhu Yuanzhang decides to test the two men's abilities by asking how they would solve Henan's problems.

Zhu Yunwen suggests opening the granaries and distributing grain.

Zhu Yunton brings out an object.

"Grandfather, this crop yields at least three thousand jin per mu. It will ensure the people of our Ming dynasty never go hungry or lack clothing."

Zhu Yuanzhang's expression changes dramatically. Such a wondrous thing actually exists in this world?

"Grandfather, our Ming dynasty should tax commerce more heavily and agriculture less."

"Grandfather, our Ming dynasty should provide universal education, so everyone can read and understand reason."

"Grandfather, the world is vast, and our Ming dynasty is only one country among many. I suggest that all my royal uncles expand our borders."

At these words, Zhu Yuanzhang is stunned.

"My good grandson, I grant you the right to govern the country indefinitely. I want to see just what kind of extraordinary empire the Ming dynasty can become."
