I Kept a Low Profile in the Heavenly Court for a Thousand Years, and You're Telling Me It's Heavenless?

After transmigrating into the world of Journey to the West, Lin Xiao first clawed his way out of a peacock's belly. Later, he fought a bald monk for three days and nights.

By a twist of fate, he entered the Celestial Court and became Lingying You Sheng Zhenjun, one of the Four Saints of the North Pole.

What?

The Buddha Tathagata says I have a karmic connection with the West?

The Jade Emperor wants me to join him in some grand scheme?

Tongtian Jiaozhu wants me to rebuild the Jie Sect and even make me its deputy leader?

This is so exciting... not!

I've been keeping my head down in the Celestial Court for a thousand years. How could I possibly be so careless?

Chaos Pearl: Um, actually, you're Wutian!

Lin Xiao: Wutian? Which Wutian?

Chaos Pearl: The one who was reborn from Luohou and overthrew all the gods and Buddhas in the heavens.
